Coverage planning

Separate the venue area from the content requirement.

A conference room, exhibition booth and roaming highlight brief create different access, audio and camera decisions.

01

Conference sessions

List rooms, speakers, panels, slides and every session that must be recorded.

02

Exhibition coverage

Identify booth activity, visitor flow, brand priorities and the times that matter.

03

Booth interviews or demos

Plan sound, background, contributor schedule and organiser permissions in the assigned space.

04

Event highlight

Define the audience and useful post-event story rather than requesting general coverage only.

MCEC FAQ

Venue questions to resolve before the shoot.

Is permission needed to film at MCEC?

MCEC’s current film and photography page states that customers planning to film in or around the venue must get approval. Confirm the current process with the organiser and venue.

Which entrance or loading dock should the crew use?

MCEC publishes separate Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre access information. The organiser should provide the exact event location and current bump-in route.

Can the filming plan work with the venue AV team?

Include the appointed AV contact and the required microphone, slide and screen feeds so responsibilities can be coordinated.

Can speakers and slides be recorded?

Request both explicitly and confirm the available presentation and audio sources with the organiser and venue AV team.

Can booth interviews and demonstrations be requested?

Yes as proposed deliverables. The assigned space, noise, access and participant permissions still need to be assessed.

Is Production Partner affiliated with MCEC?

No. Production Partner is an independent provider and is not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by MCEC.
